  • National Archives (UK): Voices of the Armistice - "Welcome to our series of podcasts launched to mark the 90th anniversary of the Armistice. These evocative podcasts bring alive the individual experiences of those who served in the First World War. They highlight some of the unusual and interesting stories that can be found in military records at The National Archives. New podcasts will be added to the series until 21 November 2008."

  • The National Archives of the UK also sponsors the "Learning Curve podcast: "Past Masters is a podcast series specially produced for Learning Curve. It features a mix of lectures from top academics specifically aimed at pupils alongside radio-style investigations of historical topics using primary documents from the National Archives read by actors.

  • Available as a download from iTunes, NARA and Acoustiguide have produced an audio tour of the travelling exhibit “Eyewitness.”
  • Brooklyn Historical Society on iTunes--mixed bag of audio files, not really a podcast so much as recordings on a series of topics, such as current exhibtions, etc.,
  • New York Historical Society: Hidden Sites of Slavery and Freedom Tour: You can take your own guided historical walking tour around the city via cell phone (1-800-895-8161), video, video podcast, audio podcast or words embedded on paper. Points for offering every format possible and not caring whether or not it still qualifies as a podcast.
