Processing blogs are sponsored by an archives or special collection as an outreach tool. They are written by one or more contributors and they carry a more personal and subjective tone. Processing blogs are useful in providing information about what archivists discover as they process (arrange and describe) a collection, and they can stimulate comments and discussion.
